Learning About Wireless Radio Frequency

Class Description

Exploring radio frequency propagation, specific to healthcare network services, topologies and their hardware. Included will be a hands-on experience learning the basic use and function of a spectrum analyzer as a tool for performing WMTS and WiFi patient monitoring site surveys, scanning the RF environment for interference and searching out ways to mitigate risk through system design and filtering. (Maximum of 20 participants).

NOTE: This class is limited to the first 20 paid participants. Confirmation of class registration is based on the first 20 PAID registrations.

James V. Rizzo, CNT, BA-Math, is an IT Instructor for GE Healthcare located in Madison WI. He holds exam certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, CCNA, Cisco BSCI, and BCMSN, as well as a BA in Mathematics and German from Carroll College in Waukesha WI.
