Mr. Joe Briere is President of CPN Power, Inc. Joe received his degree in electrical engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Joe worked for the Burroughs Corp. For 22 years. He began his career as a Service engineer and worked his way up to a Specialty Engineer and ultimately a Service Manager. Joe had responsibility 150 service engineers working on products for the banking industry, namely computer systems, printers and so on… Joe was ultimately selected to lead a new group within Burroughs during the late 1970's that studied the effect of power problems on computer data and components. This was at a time when computer manufacturers did not really understand how power impacted the computer systems. It was also a time when power quality meters didn't exist. Joe took the lead in developing techniques and instruments used to diagnose power quality issues. That experience led Joe to found CPN Power in 1982 in order to assist other corporations and end users resolve power problems. Medical equipment applications ultimately became the staple business for CPN Power.

Tom has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. Tom's career path has been in Sales Engineering. Tom has specialized in power protection equipment for data, communications, industrial, and medical applications for the past 20 years. Tom worked for Liebert Corporation for 10 years providing electrical and mechanical products primarily for the mid-size to large data center markets.
